Kinnelon prevails in OT, Jefferson rallies past Mt. Lakes

Sean Robbins scored 24 points and R. J. Giannetti had 17 points and 27 rebounds in Kinnelon’s 67-60 overtime triumph over North Warren on Monday.

The close road contest was sent to overtime due to a Matt Olah basket for the Patriots in the final seconds which tied the game at 53. North Warren standout Glen Nanius scored 31 points including his 1,000th point. Kinnelon improves to 5-3.

Jefferson 61, Mountain Lakes 56, OT – Bryan Langan scored 23 points and the Falcons rallied with a strong fourth quarter and overtook the Lakers in overtime. Jefferson is 7-2. Paul Tarnawski had 23 points and Pierce Langlois had 12 for Mountain Lakes (6-4).

Montclair 54, Morris Hills 36 – Dillon Washington and Brian Walls scored 12 each for the Scarlet Knights 3-8.

Sparta 71, Roxbury 49 – Jake Melville’s 20-point contest paced the Spartans. Malcolm Chavis scored 12 points and Ryan Kelley and Doug Alexander had 11 apiece for the Gaels (4-6).

Seton Hall Prep 60, Morris Knolls 38 – Carroll Rich had 12 points and Mike Signer had 11 for the Golden Eagles (6-4).

Lakeland 58, Butler 43; Dover 57, Lenape Valley 41.
