Hanover Park earns OT win, Boonton triumphs

Matt Williams scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lift Hanover Park to a 58-45 overtime win over Pequannock on Monday. Matt Geisser added 11 points for the Hornets (14-4). Both teams ended regulation tied at 42-all. Hanover Park outscored Pequannock 16-3 in a four-minute overtime period. Kurt Weinmann scored 13 points and Nick LaPorta added 11 for the Golden Panthers (11-10).

Boonton 65, Kittatinny 58 — Messaq Farzad scored 20 points and Sammi Asani scored 16 points and dished 13 assists for the Bombers. Joe McCabe added 15 points for Boonton, which took a 31-24 lead at the half and held on for the victory. The Bombers improve to 6-14.

Whippany Park 70, Parsippany Hills 50 — The Wildcats gained a measure of revenge against the Vikings which knocked them out of the Morris County Tournament last month. A. J. Holleran scored 19 points and Ryan Gaynor added 17 for Whippany Park (10-7). The Wildcats led 35-21 at the half and maintained a sizable advantage the rest of the way. Mike DiEdwardo scored 10 points to pace Parsippany Hills (4-17).
