Jefferson sets school record; Whippany Park wins in OT

Bryan Langan scored 19 points to pace Jefferson in an 83-33 romp of Kittatinny on Thursday.

The Falcons outscored their opponents 47-7 in the second half. Jefferson improves to 16-0 which is a school record for most consecutive wins and most wins to start a season. J. R. Reese, Chris Telman and Dakota Nobile scored 12 points apiece for Jefferson.

Whippany Park 58, Parsippany 50, OT

Ryan Gaynor scored 18 points, Mark Basista scored 11 points and Ryan Cahill added 10 for the Wildcats. Whippany Park pulled away with a 9-1 overtime run. Lionel Chambers and Leonard Lee scored 19 points apiece for Parsippany.

Morris Knolls 51, Morris HIlls 41

Matt Toohey scored 17 points and Dillon Washington added 11 points for the Scarlet Knights.

Mount Olive 95, Vernon 68

Rashaan Spencer scored 19 points to pace the Marauders. Zach Heeman scored 14 points and Ryan Traub and Jason Drury had 13 points apiece for Mount Olive (15-2).

West Morris 32, Mendham 30

Sean McElwaine knocked down a pair of free throws with 30 seconds left to provide the deciding points. Sam McClellan scored 11 points for the Wolfpack. Alex Jacobs suffered a wrist injury in the second quarter.

Delbarton 48, Roxbury 34

The Green Wave shot 7 of 11 from the perimeter to earn the win. A 24-11 third-quarter effort provided the difference. Giuseppe Bevacqua scored nine points for Delbarton. Doug Alexander had 13 points and five rebounds for the Gaels.

Randolph 55, Chatham 41

Barry Lynch scored 20 points and Greg Moserowitz added 15 for the Rams. Randolph (10-9) has won seven of its last eight games. Graham Delaney had 18 points for the Cougars (10-6).

Morristown 87, Parsippany Hills 38

Sean Hoehn scored 25 points and Drew Hahn contributed 18 for the Colonials (13-1).

Butler 67, Boonton 44

Nick Ballistreri’s 30-point performance paced the Bulldogs. A 20-11 third-quarter effort gave Butler a second half advantage. Sammy Asani had 28 points for the Bombers.

Morris Catholic 70, Kinnelon 35

Amir Allen had 19 points and 15 rebounds to spark the Crusaders. Wayne Patterson added 17 for Morris Catholic.

Morristown-Beard 57, Madison 35

Stephen Sangree scored 17 points, Matt McFadden scored 12 points and Chris Pooler added 11 for the Crimson. Kevin Armstrong scored 13 points for the Dodgers.

Dover 57, Pequannock 52

Dwayne Brown scored 23 points and Ryan Charyshyn added 14 for the Tigers (10-6). Ian Campbell scored 17 points for the Golden Panthers.

Montville 56, High Point 55

Jesse Warech scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Jacob Kaplan had 13 points in the road victory. The Mustangs rallied from a 20-8 first-quarter deficit to earn the victory.

West Essex 64, Mountain Lakes 48

Christian Cuccinello and Luke St. Lifer scored 11 points apiece for the Lakers.
