Jefferson improves to 21-0; Morristown, Hanover Park win

Vinny Ginefra scored 22 points and J. R. Reese contributed 16 points to lift Jefferson to a 90-50 triumph over Lenape Valley on Thursday.

Chris Telman added 13 points including three 3-pointers for the NJAC-Freedom champions. Jefferson improves to 21-0 with the triumph.

Hanover Park 64, Pequannock 47

John Crown scored 21 points and Nick Burbella added 15 to spark the Hornets. Hanover Park led 31-20 at the half.

Madison 52, Parsippany 50

Kevin Armstrong scored 16 points and Darnell St. Germain added 12 to spark the Dodgers. Leonard Lee scored 14 points and Lionel Chambers contributed 10 points for the Red Hawks.

Montville 74, Vernon 57

A 22-8 fourth-quarter performance decided the game. Tyler Storch scored 19 points and Erik Werheim and Jacob Kaplan had 18 points apiece for the Mustangs.

Pope John 67, Mount Olive 51

Rashaan Spencer scored 18 points for the Marauders. The Lions win basically assures them the NJAC-American title. Pope John led 37-29 at the half.

Sparta 62, Morris Knolls 45

Carroll Rich scored 24 points for the Golden Eagles.

Mountain Lakes 59, Kinnelon 29

Matt Reese paced the Lakers with 16 points and Christian Cuccinello added 11. John Hamill’s 11 point effort benefited the Colts.

Morristown 49, Mendham 33

Sean Hoehn scored 17 points and Zach Certner added 13 to fuel the Colonials triumph. Jack Horan and Peter Butkus scored 10 points each for the Minutemen. Morristown took control early with a 16-8 first-quarter run.

Dover 56, Whippany Park 47

Ryan Charyshyn scored 28 points to fuel the Tigers triumph. A 14-7 fourth-quarter performance helped Dover secure the win. Joe Michalewsky and Mark Basista scored 11 points each for the Wildcats.

West Morris 41, Delbarton 38

Conor Barron scored 20 points in the Wolfpack win. Seamus Craugh had a 13-point performance for the Green Wave.

Randolph 69, Parsippany Hills 44

Ryan Mahoney scored 14 points including three 3-pointers and Patrick Archer notched 12 points for the Rams. Randolph led 40-25 at the half.

Morris Catholic 94, Butler 57

Sophomores Wayne Patterson scored 27 points and Amir Allen notched 17 points to fuel the Crusaders’ victory. Ryan Feeney added 16 points and 11 rebounds and Andre Spruell contributed 15 points.

Chatham 48, Roxbury 43

The Cougars split the season series with the Gaels. Robert Raiola scored 11 points for Chatham.

High Point 52, Morris Hills 41

Dillon Washington scored 14 points for the Scarlet Knights.

Wednesday

Sparta 58, Montville 46

Jacob Kaplan scores 17 points and Jacob Coleman and Jesse Warech added eight points and seven rebounds each for the Mustangs.
