Butler’s Ballistreri nets 42 in win over Pequannock

Nick Ballistreri scored 42 points to spark Butler to a 67-58 win over Pequannock in action on Monday. The senior guard’s total is the most for a MOrris County player this season. Butler pulled away with a 23-12 fourth-quarter run. Bryan Peters scored 23 points for the Golden Panthers.

Dover 52, Parsippany 50, OT

Senior guard Ryan Charyshyn scored 17 points to lead the Tigers to an overtime triumph. The Red Hawks rallied with a 13-10 fourth-quarter performance and tied the game at 45 to send it to overtime. Leonard Lee scored 16 points and Declan Devens added 11 for Parsippany.

Mount Olive 86, Montville 47

Rashaan Spencer scored 22 points, Donte Wise scored 14 points and Zach Heeman added 13 to lift the Marauders. Mount Olive took control from the beginning with a 23-8 first-quarter run. Jacob Kaplan scored 15 points and Jesse Warech added 13 for the Mustangs.

Glen Ridge 36, Mountain Lakes 25

The loss ended a Lakers 5-game winning streak. Peyton Miller led Mountain Lakes with seven points. Zach Thomas scored 22 points for Glen Ridge.
