Ryan Gaynor scored 22 points and Stephen Tucker added 17 to lift Whippany Park to a 56-37 triumph over Bernards on Saturday.
The Wildcats took an 18-6 first quarter advantage and added to it the rest of the way. Mark Basista had 11 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Whippany Park (4-3).
Mendham 30, Hunterdon Central 27
The Minutemen jump to 6-3 on the season with a win in a low scoring contest. Brian Kenez scored 13 points and Robert Annen added eight points in the victory held at the Coaches vs. Cancer Shootout held in Montgomery.
Roxbury 58, Parsippany Hills 42
Steven Loreng scored 16 points and distributed seven assists and Doug Alexander scored 16 point for the Gaels. A 13-7 third-quarter effort gave Roxbury a commanding 13 point edge going into the final period. Grant Dixon scored four points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Roxbury (6-1).
