Mount Olive, Morris Hills emerge victorious

Donte Wise scored 25 points to spark Mount Olive to a 71-55 triumph over Morris Knolls in boys basketball action on Thursday.

Brandon Hood added 14 for the Marauders. A 20-11 fourth-quarter streak extended Mount Olive’s advantage.The Marauders are 15-6. Jared Badalamenti scored 18 points and Ryan Bornemann had 13 for the Golden Eagles.

Morris Hills 53, Parsippany 43

Kevin Cassady scored 13 and Chris Caraballo contributed 11 to pace the Scarlet Knights. Morris Hills rallied from an 11-5 first-quarter deficit.

Montclair Kimberley 72, Morris Catholic 55

The Cougars led 37-21 at the half. The Crusaders drop to 14-11.

Kinnelon 70, Kittatinny 56

Jaison Buchanan scored 23 points, Matt Steward scored 14 points and Eric Hausser added 11 for the Colts. Kinnelon took control with a 26-13 performance in the first quarter. The Colts are 6-20.

Montville 66, Mountain Lakes 53 

A 22-11 third-quarter effort helped the Mustangs build a 52-39 lead going into the final period. Montville is 18-5.

Morristown-Beard 55, Randolph 41

The Crimson led 22-16 at the half. Morristown-Beard improves to 7-17.
