Remember Wednesday’s Morris-Sussex Senior All-Star Classic

Don’t forget. The Morris-Sussex Senior Classic All-Star game is being played on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Mount Olive High School.

Local basketball stars invited to compete for the Morris team include: Graham Delaney of Chatham, Brad Daugherty of Hanover Park, Robert Annen and Brian Kenez of Mendham, Jacob Kaplan, Jacob Coleman and Erik Werheim of Montville, Ryan Bornemann of Morris Knolls, Jack Mongey of Morristown, Donte Wise of Mount Olive, James Hitchcock of Pequannock, Kevin Leary of Randolph, Doug Alexander of Roxbury and Conor Barron of West Morris.

The team will be coached by Bill Medina of Montville with the assistance of Morris Knolls’ Ken Ferrare.

Sussex All-Stars include: Chris Marcinek and Tobi Olugbenga of Hopatcong, Billy Hemmer of High Point, Jordan Lorenzo and Kevin Zoellner of Kittatinny, Aiden Black of Newton, Anthony Argulo and Dean Tappen of Sparta, Brendan Johansson and Bryce Lewis of Sussex Tech, Logan Costello and Luke Venskus of Vernon and Kyle Sekelsky of Wallkill Valley.

The Sussex team is being coached by Matt Ferguson of Vernon and Mike Serra of Lenape Valley.

Last year, Sussex defeated Morris 116-109. High Point’s Adam Walton earned MVP honors for Sussex with a 19-point performance. Morristown’s Sean Hoehn scored 21 points to earn Morris MVP honors.
