Unbeaten Chatham tops Morristown; Mount Olive, Montville win

Tristan LeMon had 15 points and Colin McKenna had 12 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks to lift Chatham to a 70-47 victory over Morristown in boys basketball action on Thursday.

The Cougars are 10-0. Chatham took control early and led 36-15 at the half. Rohan Walker and Kevin Hoehn had 10 points each for Morristown.

Hanover Park 75, Dover 55

The Hornets outscored the Tigers 27-8 in the third quarter to put the game away. Hanover Park is 8-3 on the season.

Montville 62, Delbarton 60

An 11-8 third-quarter effort gave the Mustangs a 40-37 edge going into the final period. Montville is 4-4 on the season.

Morris Catholic 78, Kinnelon 39

Amir Allen had 13 points and nine rebounds, Rob Birstonas had 13 points and Jordan Spencer had 12 points and 10 assists for the Crusaders (8-2).

Mo-Beard 53, Mountain Lakes 45

Brian Monaghan had 24 points including four 3-pointers in the Crimson triumph. A 20-12 fourth quarter effort put Morristown-Beard over the top. Justin Rodriguez added 14 points for the Crimson. Chris Boyhad had 14 points for the Lakers.

Sparta 63, Parsippany Hills 37

Brandon Danis had 18 points for the winless Vikings.

Mount Olive 56, Roxbury 50

A 20-12 fourth-quarter effort helped the Marauders over the .500 mark.

West Morris 40, Morris Hills 39

The Wolfpack is 5-4. The teams were tied at 32 going into the fourth quarter.

Wayne Hills 59, Morris Knolls 46

The Golden Eagles drop to 5-5.
