Boonton, Mendham win at the buzzer


Ty Dauti hit a half-court shot with one second remaining to lift Boonton to a 55-53 win over Pequannock in boys basketball action on Tuesday. Boonton rallied from a 31-20 halftime deficit.T.J. Green scored 16 points and Dauti and Nate Maquiling had 14 for the Bombers. Derek Nelson had 23 points for Pequannock.

Mountain Lakes 55, Madison 41

Tate Gillie’s 27-point performance sparked the Lakers. P.J. Mulcahy had 18 points for the Dodgers.

Mendham 47, Morris Hills 46

Vince Falvo knocked down a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Minutemen. Ryan Stolz and Nick Pellechia had 11 points each for Mendham. Zach Jackson topped the Scarlet Knights with 10 points.

Morris Catholic 58, Morristown-Beard 44

Amir Allen had a monster game. Allen had 38 points and 19 rebounds to spark the Crusaders. Rob Birstonas added 10 points and 12 rebounds for Morris Catholic (9-2). Justin Rodriguez had 20 points and Brian Monaghan added 17 for the Crimson.

Jefferson 66, Hopatcong 39

The Falcons are 6-4. Jared Schuster scored 25 points and Griffin Reilly added 11 for Jefferson.

Chatham 53, Mount Olive 39

Tristan LeMon had 16 points and Colin McKenna had 15 for the unbeaten Cougars. Jack Rooney added 12 points for Chatham which led 22-7 by the end of the first quarter. Jason Drury had 13 for the Marauders.

Dover 47, Parsippany 31

Dwayne Brown scored 17 points to lift the Tigers (9-2). A 16-8 fourth-quarter spree secured the win.

Randolph 58, Roxbury 40

The Rams are 9-2. Randolph took control early with a 15-3 first-quarter run.

Delbarton 59, Sparta 55

Stephen Clapp’s 20-point performance fueled the Green Wave triumph. Matt Douglas added 12 points for Delbarton.

Vernon 66, Butler 44

The Bulldogs drop to 2-8.

Morristown 59, West Morris 46

Kevin Hoehn scored 20 points and Luke Haralampoudis had 15 points, all on 3-point shots. Chase Wanic had 18 points and Kevin Leonard contributed 10 for the Wolfpack.

Whippany Park 61, Kinnelon 52

The Wildcats are 6-4. Mark Basista had 21 points and 10 rebounds and Ryan Gaynor added 21 points for Whippany Park. Charlie Von Schalscha led the Colts with 14 points.
