Morristown edges Montville; Morris Catholic tops Dover

Rohan Walker and Josh Szott scored 12 points each to lift Morristown to a 46-39 triumph over Montville in boys basketball action on Thursday.

Luke Haralampoudis had nine points and Kevin Hoehn added eight for the Colonials. Anthony Bio had 17 for the Mustangs.

Morris Catholic 60, Dover 48

Amir Allen had 23 points, 14 rebounds and eight blocked shots to spark the Crusaders. Rob Birstonas added 18 points for Morris Catholic (11-2). The Crusaders rallied from a 30-25 halftime deficit. Dwayne Brown had 25 points and 15 rebounds for the Tigers.

Hackettstown 50, Jefferson 45

The Falcons led 36-35 going into the final period.

Mendham 53, Delbarton 48

Brad Bundschuh’s 21-point, nine-rebound performance lifted the Minutemen. Ryan Stolz added 11 points for Mendham. Stephen Clapp scored 15 points for the Green Wave.

Sparta 45, Morris Hills 37

The Scarlet Knights drop to 7-7.

Randolph 74, Morris Knolls 54

The Rams are 11-2. Eric Schuette scored 21 points including three 3-pointers for Randolph. Ryan Maughan and Julia Boykins scored 13 points for Randolph. Hunter Kaidy scored 18 points for the Golden Eagles.

Mountain Lakes 63, Butler 46

The Lakers improved to 9-4. Tate Gillis scored 16 points, Cade Siddron had 13 points and Tom Gleeson had 11 points for Mountain Lakes. Danny Polons had 12 points for the Bulldogs.

Parsippany 55, Boonton 44

Declan Devans scored 24 points and Derek Principe added 12 points for the Red Hawks. Connor Davis, T. J. Green and Ameer Koyos scored eight points each for the Bombers. Parsippany led 22-11 at the half.

Morristown-Beard 58, Pequannock 45

Justin Rodriguez paced the Crimson with 24 points. Brian Monaghan scored 11 points and Rafael Castillo added 11 points and 10 rebounds. Jamie Morella had 13 points and Derek Nelson added 12 points for the Golden Panthers.

West Morris 55, Parsippany Hills 26

Ambrose Consol scores 11 points in a balanced effort for the Wolfpack. Dom Grauso scored 10 points ad Derek Meola and Chase Wanic added eight points apiece. Arjun Naggendran had 10 points for the Vikings.
