Hanover Park, Chatham, Morris Knolls on top


John Crown had 24 points and 10 assists to lift Hanover Park to a 78-46 win over Parsippany in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Matt Winschuh scored 19 points and Matthew Pitts added 12 points for Hanover Park. Tommy Nowicki had a dozen for the Red Hawks.

Chatham 63, West Morris 40

The Cougars led 29-15 at the half and never looked back. Chatham is 14-1.

Delbarton 51, Roxbury 42

Stephen Clapp scored 19 points and Dan Cimaglia had 14 for the Green Wave. Steven Loreng scored 15 points for the Gaels.

Pequannock 55, Glen Rock 36

The Golden Panthers improve to 7-7. Derek Nelson scored 22 points for Pequannock. A 15-7 third-quarter run helped the Golden Panthers pull away.

Morris Knolls 52, Mendham 49

Luke Urbanik scored 15 points and Michael Chapman added 12 in the Golden Eagles triumph. Morris Knolls came-from-behind with a 21-12 third-quarter run. Ryan Stolz had 16 points for the Minutemen.

Randolph 75, Montville 54

Eric Schuette scored 19 points including three 3-pointers for the Rams. Luke Nathan had 13 points and Julian Boykin added 10 points. Max Carus led all scorers with 21 points for the Mustangs.

Morris Catholic 55, Whippany Park 46

Amir Allen had 19 points and eight rebounds and Rob Birstonas and Jesse Paradiso each had 13 points for the Crusaders. Ryan Gaynor had 15 points for the Wildcats. Morris Catholic led 25-12 at the half.

Morris HIlls 53, Vernon 46

Zach Jackson scored 17 points for the Scarlet Knights. A 12-8 fourth-quarter effort made the difference. Morris Hills evens its mark at 8-8.

Morristown 74, Parsippany Hills 34

The Colonials are 10-5. Kevin Hoehn finished with 12 points and Morristown coasted on Senior Night. Bailey Wild and Rohan Walker scored eight points each for the Colonials. Parker Close had eight points for the Vikings.

Pope John 86, Mount Olive 64

The Marauders dropped to 8-8 with the home loss.

Mountain Lakes 57, Dover 31

Chris Boyhan’s 17-point performance lifted the Lakers. Cade Siddron added 14 points and Jake Schicke added 10. Mountain Lakes took control early and enjoyed a 31-13 halftime lead. Dwayne Brown scored 14 points for the Tigers.
