Justin Rodriguez had 22 points to lift Morristown-Beard to a 72-56 win over Madison in boys basketball action on Tuesday. Brian Monaghan had 15 points and Zach Dees had 14. Morristown-Beard had a 32-28 halftime advantage before pulling away. P. J. Mulcahy had 16 points for the Dodgers.

Pequannock 70, Butler 38

Derek Nelson scored 17 points to lift the Golden Panthers. Danny Polons had 15 points for the neighboring Bulldogs.

Hanover Park 71, Mountain Lakes 39

The Hornets are 14-5. A 20-6 third quarter effort gave Hanover Park a 52-27 advantage going into the final period.

Mendham 57, Whippany Park 46

Anthony Signorelli had 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the Minutemen triumph. Ben DeJong added 17 points and 10 rebounds for Mendham. Ryan Gaynor had 16 points and six rebounds to pace the Wildcats.

Morris Catholic 57, Boonton 32

Amir Allen had 16 points, 15 rebounds and eight blocked shots to spark the Crusaders. Rob Birstonas added 22 points and eight rebounds for Morris Catholic.

Chatham 72, Morris Hills 29

The Cougars are 18-1. Chatham led 42-16 at the half.

Morristown 55, Sparta 38

The Colonials are 13-6. Morristown led 30-12 at the half.

Roxbury 51, West Morris 30

A 17-point performance by Grant Dixon paced the Gaels. Jack Clevenger added 10 points for Roxbury. The Gaels pulled away with a 21-9 third-quarter effort.

Dover 68, Morris Tech 46

The Tigers are 11-7. Dover led 36-28 at the half.
