Jack Rooney scored 20 points to pace Chatham in a 66-55 win over Delbarton in boys basketball action on Thursday.
Tristan LeMon added 18 points and Colin McKenna and Stefan Goles each added 12 points for the Cougars. Chatham is 18-1. Stephen Clapp scored 17 points for the Green Wave.
Hanover Park 67, Dover 57
Matthew Winschuh and John Crown scored 16 points apiece in the Hornets’ triumph. Donny Dattolo added 15 points and eight rebounds and Matt Pitts had 10 points. A 23-8 third quarter gave Hanover Park a 48-35 advantage going into the final period. Dwayne Brown scored 26 points for the Tigers.
Mendham 50, Montville 48
Ben DeJong’s buzzer beater lifted the Minutemen. Anthony Signorelli scored 12 points and DeJong and Jamie Conklin finished with 11 points each. Mustangs’ Alex Landis led all scorers with 26 points.
Cranford 59, Morris Hills 46
Derrien Coley had 11 points for the Scarlet Knights.
West Morris 54, Morris Knolls 42
The Wolfpack led 26-19 at halftime and pulled away in the second half.
Pequannock 50, Parsippany 33
Derek Nelson scored 26 points and Jamie Morella added 12 for the Golden Panthers. Pequannock evens its mark at 9-9. Declan Devens had 11 points for the Red Hawks.
Jefferson 74, Wallkill Valley 43
The Falcons improve to 12-7. Steven Breeman and Griffin Reilly scored 16 points each for Jefferson.
Mountain Lakes 63, Morristown-Beard 43
Cade Siddron scored 27 points including seven 3-pointers to fuel the Lakers’ triumph. Jack Schicke scored 16 points and Jimmy Schicke had 11 for Mountain Lakes. Justin Rodriguez scored 18 points and Brian Monaghan added 14 for the Crimson.
Morristown 51, Summit 38
Rohan Walker scored 15 points, John Szott had 13 points and Colin Brunnock added 10 for the Colonials. Morristown led 30-19 at the break.
Boonton 63, Butler 50
Ty Dauti had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Ameer Koyas, Jeffrey Paporello and Nate Maquiling scored 11 points each for the Bombers. Danny Polons had 20 points for the Bulldogs.
Morris Catholic 69, Kinnelon 53
Rob Birstonas had 24 points and eight rebounds and Amir Allen had 22 points and seven rebounds for the Crusaders (16-3).
