Donny Dattolo scored 16 points, John Crown scored 14 points and Matthew Pitts added 12 for the Hornets. Hanover Park finishes the season with a 21-7 record.

Newark West Side took control early. It led 20-15 at the end of the first quarter and built its lead to 49-32 at the halftime break behind strong performances by point guard Isiah Reyes and Quayan Williams-King.

The Hornets finish with another strong season including a regular season NJAC Division title and a Morris County Tournament semifinal appearance.

“For 12 years I’ve had a vision for what I want my teams to be,” Hartman said. “This team has come pretty close to my opinion as a basketball coach for what I think makes a successful team.”
