Chatham edges Mo-Town; Kinnelon wins again

Graham LeMon scored 12 points to lift Chatham to a 45-40 victory over Morristown in the tight defensive battle on Tuesday. The Cougars improve to 6-1. Chatham led 17-16 at the half. Ashton Pardie had 13 points and Kevin Hoehn scored 11 points for Morristown 4-2.

Morristown-Beard 73, Dover 43

Brian Monaghan scored 20 points and Justin Rodriguez and Raphael Castillo each had a dozen points. The Crimson are 6-1.

Hanover Park 61, Parsippany 46

Joe Jandoli scored 12 points and Eddie Feeeney and Matt Winschuh both notched 11 points. The Hornets built a 34-17 halftime edge. Hanover Park is 4-3.

Jefferson 61, Mendham 43

Steven Brennan had 20 points and Joe Batelli had 11 to pace the Falcons. A 21-12 fourth quarter run secured the victory. Ryan Stolz scored 12 points for Mendham.

Morris Catholic 52, Pequannock 47

Jesse Paradiso’s 16-point, 10-rebound performance sparked the Crusaders. Mark Manfredi added 10 points in the closely-contested game. Ryan Hitchcock had 14 points for the Golden Panthers.

Morris Knolls 74, Roxbury 38

Jordan McDaniel had 28 points and 13 rebounds in the Golden Eagles’ romp.

Sparta 50, Mount Olive 40

Jared Traub notched 20 points for the Marauders.

Mountain Lakes 60, Madison 46

Jake Schicke scored 13 points to lead a balanced effort for the Lakers. Tate Gillie, Jack Baker and Tom Gleeson also had double figure games for Mountain Lakes. Andy Cristos had 13 points for the Dodgers.

Pope John 69, Morris Hills 37

The Scarlet Knights drop to 3-2.

Randolph 74, Parsippany HIlls 49

Ryan Maughan’s 14-point effort propelled the Rams.

Kinnelon 69, Whippany Park 58

The Colts are off to a 6-1 start. Bobby Lewit had 10 points for Kinnelon which built a 42-31 halftime advantage. Vedanth Nair had 18 points for the Wildcats.
