Chatham edges Morristown; Randolph, Mo-Beard win

Mac Bredahl hit a layup with 2.9 seconds remaining to lift Chatham to a 48-47 road victory over Morristown in boys basketball action on Tuesday.

Graham LeMon led the team with 10 points and Bredahl had eight. John Burkard also had eight points for Chatham (11-5). Kevin Hoehn and Luke Haralampoudis scored 17 points apiece for the Colonials (11-4). The teams wet tied at 24-all at the half.

Randolph 67, Jefferson 48

Luke Nathan’s 17-point performance lifted the Rams. Justin Polesuk added 14 points for Randolph (11-4). The Rams led 31-23 to start the third quarter and pulled away late. Steven Breeman scored 16 points to pace the Falcons.

Morristown-Beard 70, Dover 37

Raphael Castillo and Zach Dees each had 16 points in the Crimson triumph. Justin Rodriguez scored 15 points and Brian Monaghan added 12 points. Morristown-Beard is 13-3.

Kinnelon 60, Whippany Park 54

The Colts are 13-4. Austin Tchikatilov scored 26 points to spur the Kinnelon triumph. The Colts led 16-5 at the end of the first quarter but the Wildcats rallied late. Chris Ulichnu and Nick DiJoseph scored 15 points apiece for Whippany Park
