Hanover Park, Delbarton advance in MCT

Joey Jandoli scored 30 points and Matt Winschuh scored 23 points to lift Hanover Park to a 80-57 victory over Roxbury in the opening round of the Morris County Tournament on Saturday. Michael Boeckel added 19 for the fifth-seeded Hornets.

Hanover Park started the game with a 23-0 first-quarter run and led 41-31 at the half. Hanover Park improves to 12-5 on the season with the win. Franki Hrelja scored 22 points for the 21st-seeded Gaels. Hanover Park plays Morristown in the quarterfinal round on Saturday.

Delbarton 46, Jefferson 43

Matt Douglas scored 14 points and Ryan Criqui added 10 points to lift the sixth-seeded Green Wave. Joe Morici scored 10 points and Steven Breeman and Anthony Johnson had nine points each for the 11th-seeded Falcons. Delbarton lays the winner of Chatham-Mount Olive in the quarterfinals.

Morristown-Beard 70, Madison 52

Brian Monaghan scored 22 points including four 3-pointers and Justin Rodriguez added 20 points to fuel the Crimson victory. Morristown-Beard led 24-12 at the end of the first quarter and 38-23 at the half. The top-seeded Crimson advance to the semifinals. Matt Haughey scored 14 points for the 16th-seeded Dodgers fall to 8-9. Morristown-Beard plays No. 9 Kinnelon in the quarterfinals.

Mountain Lakes 57, Morris Knolls 36

Jake Schicke’s 15-point performance sparked the Lakers. Tate Gillie added 13 points and Jack Baker added nine for No. 7 Mountain Lakes. Christian Bornemann had 11 points for tenth-seeded Golden Eagles. Mountain Lakes led 27-22 at the half. The Lakers play Randolph in the quarterfinals.

Randolph 71, Morris Catholic 47

The Rams led 37-13 at the half. Chris Cheng and Luke Nathan scored 17 points apiece and Ryan Maughan added 12 points for second-seeded Randolph. Jesse Paradiso scored 19 points and Chimdi Ewanike added 16 points for the 15th-seeded Crusaders.

Kinnelon 66, Morris Hills 50

Austin Tchikatilov scored 27 points to pace the ninth-seeded Colts. Matt Stewart scored 14 points and Bobby Lewit added 12. A 15-2 second-quarter helped Kinnelon build a 30-12 halftime advantage. Darrien Coley scored 16 points to No. 8 Morris Hills. Kinnelon plays Morristown-Beard in the quarterfinals.

Morristown 54, Montville 35

Luke Haralampoudis scored 22 points and Kevin Hoehn added 15 to spark the fourth-seeded Colonials. Joe DelloStritto scored 14 points for the 13th-seeded Mustangs.

Chatham 60, Mount Olive 47

Jack Rooney scored 13 points to pace the third-seeded Cougars.

Regular Season

North Warren 76, Butler 71

The Bulldogs are 2-14.

Boonton 69, Parsippany Hills 64

The Bombers led 29-24 at the half.

West Morris 56, Morris Tech 46

Charles Roehrich scored 18 points and Sean Bryant scored 14 points for the Wolfpack.
