Hanover Park, Jefferson, Whippany Park triumph


Joey Jandoli had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lift Hanover Park to a 63-53 victory over Mountain Lakes in boys basketball action on Tuesday. A 23-16 fourth-quarter effort helped the Hornets pull away. Matt Winschuh added 16 points for Hanover Park (14-6).

Jefferson 54, Newton 48

Steven Brennan scored 25 points in the Falcons’ victory. The contest was tied 25-all at the half.

Whippany Park 68, Morris Catholic 64

Robbie Madison’s 23-point effort propelled the Wildcats to victory. Whippany Park fought off a second half Crusaders’ rally. Stephen Tucker added 13 points for the Wildcats. Jesse Paradiso scored 21 for Morris Catholic.

North Hunterdon 77, Morris Hills 67

Andrew Behrends scored 27 points and Derrien Coley added 16 for the Scarlet Knights.

Delbarton 54, Oratory Prep 48

Matt Douglas scored 13 points and Jaedon Khubani added nine points in the Green Wave triumph. Delbarton rallied from a 23-19 halftime deficit. The Green Wave is 14-6.

Randolph 72, Parsippany Hills 50

Luke Nathan’s 16-point performance paced the Rams. Dylan Minihane added nine points for Randolph (16-4).

Sparta 52, Morris Knolls 44

Alec Shea scored eight points for the Golden Eagles. Morris Knolls drops to 11-8.

Dover 50, Parsippany 49

The Tigers led 22-21 at the half and held on for a narrow victory.
